How To Stop Underarm Sweat Fast!
Sweating is one of those things that’s different for everybody: For some, sweating isn’t much of a bother, but for others, it can be a debilitating problem and actually hinder day-to-day life. This is a condition known as hyperhidrosis – abnormally excessive sweating not caused by external temperature or physical exertion.
miraDry works by delivering thermal microwave energy to the underlying structures in your skin tissue. Once that is done, the heat waves cause odor and sweat glands to shut down, permanently destroying sweat glands without surgical intervention.
miraDry is proven to reduce overall sweat and odor by an average of 82%.
When the miraDry bioTip runs over your underarms, you may feel a suction sensation as it draws sweat glands closer to the surface. The device then radiates thermal energy, which will heat the glands for permanent elimination. Don’t be concerned if you feel slight heat in the area during this time. That’s totally normal!

A Little Ice and You’re Good To Go!
You know those mini plastic water bottles? The ones where you basically take one swig and then you’re done? That’s all you’re going to need for post-treatment care, as they fit perfectly beneath your underarms. Some people even put them in the freezer first, so they have little at-home ice packs to help relieve any residual discomfort.
Your miraDry provider will recommend keeping ice tucked under your arms as often as you can for a few days to a week after treatment, as the area will be a little sore, and ice will help reduce swelling. However, after treatment, clients are free to resume their normal routines.
In terms of your miraDry recovery, a little bruising and sensitivity is to be expected, but most side effects diminish in 7 to 10 days.

When we asked Ashton what he thought about the healing process, he said he’d experienced the expected swelling. But once that subsided (after a few days), he was ready to rock and roll!

Is miraDry Worth It?
