BBL treatments stimulate new collagen production to give the skin a firmer, smoother appearance and more even skin tone. This is a non-invasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. During your initial consultation for BBL at our Kansas City or Liberty office, we will evaluate your skin and create a BBL treatment plan that will meet your goals.
There are rarely any side effects or downtime with Forever Young BBL™. Most patients can even put on makeup immediately afterwards. On rare occasions, there can be minor swelling.
Forever Young BBL™ in Kansas City & Liberty delivers excellent results to the vast majority of people. It decreases sun damage, diminishes redness, increases light reflectivity, and pores and fine lines decrease as well. It is easily the most effective, no-downtime treatment ever developed in aesthetics.
Initially, 3-5 treatments at 2-to-4-week intervals will produce the best results. 2-4 treatments as maintenance is an excellent way to slow down the aging process.
After a series of traditional BBL treatments, most of our clients see improvement in nearly every aspect of their skin. BBL is also one of the most effective ways to slow down the aging process. Having 2-3 treatments per year as maintenance is a fantastic anti-aging program.

BBL utilizes the power of pulsed light to deliver excellent cosmetic results. Your provider will choose the proper wavelengths of light, which target problem areas of your skin such as sun-damage, red vessels, acne, enlarged pores, etc. Light is safely delivered through a cooled sapphire crystal.
01
In your initial consultation, your provider will take high-resolution photos of your face to help determine the best treatment plant. At this time they'll go over what to expect, side effects and expected results.
02
Before the treatment, the treated area will be cleaned and a clear gel is applied. AesthetiCare assesses and cleanses the area to be treated and marks any areas to be avoided (such as a mole, permanent make up, tattoo, etc.).
03
A headband is placed on the patient to provide a clearer working surface and protective eyewear will be provided to be worn during the entire treatment.
04
Light is delivered to the skin's surface in precise pulses across the treatment area. The light will appear bright even with the protective eyewear. Your procedure may take a few minutes to an hour depending on the size of area being treated.
05
After treatment is complete the gel is cleaned and a hydrating cream and sun-block is applied.
06
The treatment area may appear red or flushed, something that usually fades within a few hours. Individuals with prominent pigmentation may notice that brown areas become temporarily darker for 10-14 days. For ForeverYoung BBL, there is virtually no post care needed.
BBL is an innovative light-based technology that sets new standards for treating skin conditions associated with aging, active life-styles and sun damage. BBL light energy allows your clinician to design treatments personalized for your skin and precisely treat age and sun spots, small facial veins, and many other skin defects. BBL phototherapy is noninvasive so you can receive comfortable and effective treatments to fit your schedule, even on a lunch break.
BBL deposits pulses of light energy that gently heats the upper layers of skin. Within the skin, the light energy is absorbed by targets, such as fine, broken vessels that cause redness and brown spots or pigmented lesions that are caused by an overproduction of melanin. This scientific and biological process destroys the target, eliminating it from the skin and restoring it to its natural beauty, blending its natural tones, making it more vibrant and youthful in appearance and touch.
Pigmented Lesions (e.g., freckles, age spots, melasma) Vascular Lesions (e.g., small blood vessels, rosacea and other micro-capillary flushing conditions) Acne, Skin laxity, Uneven Skin Texture and Unwanted Hair.
Any area of your body can be treated. The most popular treatments are on the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.
The number of treatments needed varies from patient to patient and your clinician will personalize a treatment plan based on your skin defects and the level of improvement you desire. Your clinician may also combine your treatment with other popular aesthetic procedures to further enhance the outcome.
Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. You may briefly feel a warm or "rubber band snap" sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Your procedure may take a few minutes to a half an hour depending on the size of the area to be treated and the type of procedure performed. Your clinician will discuss all of your options with you.
Patients often describe a slight stinging or snapping sensation in the treatment area. Most individuals find this to be tolerable. The procedure is gentle, noninvasive and safe. Generally, there is no need for a topical anesthetic but your clinician may choose to use it on more sensitive areas.
You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. Pigmented lesions will darken and gradually flake off and fade over the next 7-10 days. Often your treated skin will feel smoother, fine lines and pores begin to be less noticeable, and sunspots or uneven pigmentation will fade. Results depend on your skin’s condition, the number of treatments, and the area treated. Your clinician will provide you with complete information about the post treatment care and results.
BBL treatments are designed to provide little down time. Your face may appear red or flushed, something which usually fades within a few hours. Individuals with prominent pigmentation may notice that brown areas become temporarily darker, peeling off in 10-14 days. Makeup may be applied immediately after your treatment so you can return to your daily activities.
It is important to follow your clinician’s instructions. You may be given some skin care products and instructions on how to use them. If you must go outdoors, it is recommended that you cover your treated skin and use sun block of SPF 30. BE GENTLE. Do not scratch or pick at your skin.
