Dermal Fillers in Kansas City + Liberty
Replenish Lost Volume.
Dermal fillers are a natural way to fill depleted facial features or wrinkles and stimulate collagen.
Dermal fillers plump and lift the skin gently to treat volume loss caused by your body’s natural aging process or to plump wrinkles, lines, and scars. Certain dermal fillers can even stimulate your body’s natural collagen production process to replace lost collagen over time for longer-lasting results. Most of today’s dermal fillers are 100% natural. During your initial consultation at our Leawood or Liberty office, we will discuss your goals and create a filler treatment plan tailored to you.

How do Dermal Fillers Work?
Dermal fillers like Juvéderm® & Restylane® use a pure natural substance called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a chemical found in every cell in your body. Since Dermal fillers are injected into the deep layers of your facial tissue, they can smooth the appearance of moderate wrinkles and replace lost tissue volume. Dermal fillers replicate the body’s own hyaluronic production to provide fullness in the areas they are injected.
Other fillers, like Sculptra® or Radiesse®, use other natural substances to not only immediately fill wrinkles and other facial features but also stimulate your body’s natural collagen production process to provide longer-lasting results.

Dermal Fillers Explained
Frequently Asked Questions.
Are dermal filler treatments painful?
While we do use a needle to inject the dermal filler, most clients find the procedure very tolerable. We utilize topical numbing cream as well as injected lidocaine to ensure your comfort.
How long will my results last?
Results will vary depending on your age and the cosmetic zone(s) treated. Most people will see results that last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
What is the difference between dermal fillers and BOTOX® / Dysport®?
Botox / Dysport are neurotoxins that address dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movement. Dermal fillers replace lost tissue volume due to the natural aging process and can plump out deeper set or non-dynamic wrinkles.
Is there any downtime or side effects associated with dermal Fillers?
Post-treatment you may experience minor swelling in the treated area. This usually resolves itself in 1-3 days. As with any injection, there is the possibility of bruising which can last to anywhere from 1-7 days.
