The diVa laser is the most advanced way to treat the following issues: urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity, painful intercourse, and lack of natural lubrication. During your initial consultation at our Kansas City or Liberty office, our diVa specialist will discuss your symptoms and goals for treatment to create a personalized diVa treatment plan for you.

On your first visit your provider with thoroughly explain the benefits and side effects of the diVa treatment. We will provide you all the information necessary to ensure you are a good candidate for diVa.

Before your procedure, our team will obtain a urine sample for testing. You will be given a gown and a pelvic exam will be performed for safety and precaution.

Your provider will apply numbing cream to the treated area and let it set for approximately 30 minutes. After, your provider will gently remove the numbing cream.

Based on your treatment recommendations, your provider will set the device settings to produce your ideal results. The device will be inserted into the vaginal canal to begin resurfacing.

After the procedure, your provider will clean the treated area and go over post care instructions. There may be minor spotting for 3-4 days. Most women can immediately return to their normal activities.
Women who suffer from any of a variety of vaginal health issues, post-childbirth, cancer survivors, and pre and post menopausal women.
Topical numbing agent is applied for 30-45 minutes. The actual diVa treatment will take 3-5 minutes to fractionally resurface the full length of a vaginal canal.
We recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 1 month apart, followed by 1 maintenance treatment every 6-12 months.
Clients will experience a slight pressure against the vaginal wall during laser resurfacing. The treatment is fast with minimal discomfort. Some patients may experience increased sensitivity near the vaginal opening.
Clients may return to their daily routine with minimal to no discharge, spotting, or discomfort; however, they should avoid sexual intercourse for up to 72 hours. It is also recommended to stay out of hot tubs, baths, or pools for up to 72 hours.
No, the diVa laser in Kansas City and Liberty is a resurfacing treatment that's fast, easy, and completed in an outpatient setting. Topical anesthetic may be applied to increase patient comfort but is not necessary.
