Before laser hair removal, it is important to:
- Do not wax, tweeze, bleach, or use hair removal creams or electrolysis on the treatment area for at least 4 weeks.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 4 weeks.
- Do not use a tanning bed or self-tanning cream or spray for at least 2 weeks.
- Do not shave the treatment area within 24 hours of your appointment.
- Arrive at our Leawood office with a bare treatment area, free of lotions, deodorant, and makeup.
- Wear loose-fitting clothing that will leave the treatment area exposed and comfortable.
