Your First Visit
At AesthetiCare, we offer all new clients a complimentary one-hour consultation and skin evaluation with a skin care professional. It is the first step to achieving your skin care goals! On your first visit to AesthetiCare Ward Parkway, Liberty, or Lenexa, we:
- Offer a thorough history of our clinic, our staff, and treatments.
- Educate you about the largest organ in the human body—your skin.
- Ask you about your skin care concerns.
- Present an individualized evaluation and photo analysis of your skin.
- Review before-and-after photos from clients who have received the services we offer.
- Provide a comprehensive long-term skin care plan, including products and treatments.

In addition to our clinical excellence, we are proud to house the MINT Aesthetics National Training Facility within our practice. Our commitment to education and training extends to our own team as well. AesthetiCare invests an average of $60,000 a year in continuing education to ensure that our staff is always up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies. Our medical advisory board is another key factor in our success. Featuring a nationally known, board-certified dermatologist, a world-renowned, board-certified plastic surgeon and a board-certified OBGYN/anti-aging and wellness physician, our advisory board enables us to collaborate on treatment options for unique skin issues, explore new and exciting treatments and consult with them in the rare case of any complications that our valued clients may experience.

AesthetiCare’s success story began in 2001 when Matt Taranto, a seasoned aesthetics professional, founded the medspa in Kansas City. With a passion for nonsurgical aesthetic treatments and a wealth of experience in the industry, Matt has been instrumental in guiding AesthetiCare to become one of the most successful stand-alone medspas in the country.
Since its inception, AesthetiCare has experienced an impressive 17 consecutive years of double-digit growth under Matt’s leadership. His expertise in marketing, personnel management, consultations, retail product sales and equipment evaluation has been critical to the medspa’s success. Matt’s dedication to providing top-quality treatments and services has earned AesthetiCare a reputation as a trusted name in the aesthetics industry.
Kathy’s expertise has been recognized by both local and national organizations. In a recent article in KC Magazine, she was featured as the Face of Lasers, highlighting her significant contributions to the field. Additionally, Sciton, a leading manufacturer of aesthetic laser technology, honored Kathy with the Sciton Clinical Excellence Award at a Rockstar Experience event for her valuable contributions as a partner, speaker, trainer and educator for their innovative devices, such as BBL Hero, Moxi and Halo.
In addition to their work at AesthetiCare, Matt and Kathy are the forces behind Mint Aesthetics, a national training center offering aesthetics training and business consulting to medical spas worldwide. Through Mint Aesthetics, the Tarantos have worked with over 1,000 clinics in North America, focusing on beginner to advanced training for a wide range of med spa treatments, including lasers and injectables.
As sought-after speakers, Matt and Kathy share their expertise at more than 40 aesthetic meetings each year throughout the country.
