Shortly after opening AesthetiCare MedSpa in 2001, Matt and Kathy Taranto created MINT Aesthetics in 2005 – a national training center offering aesthetics training and business consulting to medical spas worldwide, and guess what?
It’s all under the same roof!
In fact, many of the same providers who treat your skin and body every day at AesthetiCare are also expert trainers at MINT!

Kathy Taranto + MINT Aesthetics = Industry Authority
If Kathy Taranto had a bumper sticker, it would most likely read “Lasers for Life” to express her immense passion for lasers and skin.
Kathy’s supreme knowledge of aesthetics stems from her 15+ years of working in virtually all positions within the industry, where the seeds of her hard work have grown into numerous achievements, including the ScitonClinical Excellence Award, which we’ll discuss a bit later.
So, where did Kathy’s love for skin begin? Back in 2000, when she started working with a French cosmeceutical company managing and marketing products throughout the Southwest.
From there, it was instant kismet!

Kathy has worked with technologies from top cosmetic companies like BTL and Lutronics and regularly speaks for The American Med Spa Association, further establishing her as a leading authority in the aesthetics industry.
In addition to her many achievements, Kathy recently received the Sciton Clinical Excellence Award in recognition of all her contributions throughout the years and for being a valued partner of Sciton.
