Microlaser Peel in Kansas City

Improve Texture & Clarity

A Microlaser Peel utilizes a specific laser to resurface the skin.

Our Microlaser Peel utilizes a scanning erbium laser to remove the outer layers of your skin in a safe, precise manner. The dead skin cells are then replaced by healthier cells, improving the texture and clarity of the skin.

2

MicroLaserPeels can be done as a stand alone treatment or in combination with other lasers, such as the Sciton ProFractional Laser or BBL.

The Microlaser Peel Treatment Process

How Does the Microlaser Work?

Utilizing an erbium scanning laser, a MicroLaser peel vaporizes skin to a desired depth. The body recognizes this as a wound and immediately begins to create new skin. Of course, the newly generated skin will look far better than the old skin. We use a topical anesthetic to make the procedure very tolerable.

1

Consultation

We choose the depth of the peel based on your specific skin and how much downtime you can tolerate.

2

Prep the Skin

One of our trained providers cleans the skin and applies a numbing cream to the treatment area for approximately 45 minutes for patient comfort.

3

Treat the Damaged Skin

Your provider positions the predetermined depth of the MicroLaser Peel. Then they positions the laser handpiece above the skin and holds it in place as the computer-guided scanner moves the laser beam around the treatment area.

4

Discuss Post Care

Once the treatment is done, we apply a light dressing (such as Aquaphor) to keep the skin moist. This will be used for 2-7 days, depending on the depth of the peel. Post care instructions will be given and thoroughly explained.
